So, I have many personal hobbies, gaming, track and field, play the piano, and collecting CD's. Today, I'm gonna share my entire (uncompleted) cd collection! (Also, I'd like to add if I don't say where I got it from, I got it from Walmart.)
I mostly listen to Alt Hip-Hop and RnB, but when I listened to Deftones for the first time. It was heavenly. I always new that I may like Hard Rock or Metal because of I liked the music featured in Stevie T's YouTube videos. White Pony felt like what Dark Blue would sound like (kinda like the Apple Music/ iTunes cover). I discovered Deftones through a Jawbreaker Juice video. In the video, he talks about getting tired of the music he was listening to and then expanded his music taste. I recommend you watch the video. My favorite track is Elite
When it came to Around The Fur, I didn't really like it at first until I got it on CD. I love that raw energy. It really incapsulates the energy of that decade it was made in. Which gives nostalgia, even though I am not anywhere close to being born in that decade. Also, my favorite track is Lotion.
I seem to be glazing Deftones a lot. I only started being a fan a year ago. This is the only Deftones I don't really come back to often. Don't get me wrong, I still like this album. It's just... I don't really know. I gonna have to listen to this album again. My favorite song is my mind is a mountain.
I've liked Bruno Mars (almost) all my life since 24k Magic (the album). However, I've only been a fan for his RnB phase of his career. It didn't really shock me that his rock music was good. Bruno has always had a soft spot in my heart. Unorthodox Jukebox is pretty good to me. Plus, I like rock now. I don't have a favorite track, all of it is pretty good.
In My Words was a gift from my eldest brother, who gave it to me. I don't know where he got it from. I haven't finished this album. I would like to add that I love the way this CD and jewel case is designed. It has so much love put into it. I have no favortite track.
I bought The Definitive Collection because I had just listened to Songs In The Key Of Life and loved it. I really love Sir Duke, it's one of my favorite songs in the world since being a child. I didn't know what Sir Duke was called until I recognized it from my early childhood while in public and searched it up. I was overjoyed when I finally found out what this song was. Also, Songs In The Key Of Life released on the day as my B-day (not the year obviously). So, I kinda have a personal connection to this album and Sir Duke. (LLOOLL I"M LISTENING TO MUSIC RIGHT NOW WHILE WRITING THIS AND SIR DUKE STARTED PLAYING WHHHAATTT!?!?!?!?) [Oh yeah, I cracked it too. :') ]
I shouldn't really need to talk about Thriller. You know it, you love it. End of story. My parents gave this to me after I told them I wanted to collect CD's. They just had it laying around in our TV stands cabnet. My favorite track on Thriller is P.Y.T.
Although GKMC isn't my most favorite Kendrick album, it's still really good. I love the story it tells and I also really like the way the CD and the case is designed. Sure, it's a little on the minimalistic side but; I love how it looks like a DVD case, kinda. (I mean they do call it a short film.)
Even if you don't like Minecraft, you can atleast respect it's soundtrack. C418's story on this album is really interesting. I'd recommend watching a YT video on it. It such an innocent album. I like this album so much that I also have it on vinyl (my parents collect vinyl). Also, try putting this album while you do chores or work. I promise, it will make your responsibilities way less tedious. I got this CD as a Christmas present last year. I don't have a favorite song the whole album is amazing.
Well, that was a doozy. I'm so glad I can have a platform to yap about stuff on. Once again, thank you so much for 1k views. Stay tuned for next week because I'll go over all my loose CD's. My loose CD's are just CD's without a jewel case. Those one's mostly come from my parents when they were younger. Suprised they haven't rotted yet.
Welp, gotta go. l8r sk8r.
